A driver on a road in northern Sweden had a cool experience recently when he came across a group of reindeer that began to run alongside his car.

Olivier Staiger was making his way down a snowy road in Klockartorget on October 26 when he spied the herd.

To his great surprise, they suddenly began to run alongside his vehicle.

"What a great fun experience," Staiger said.

"It almost felt like sitting in Santa's sleigh," he added.
