Today (November 20) people have protested in front of the BBC headquarter accusing the national broadcaster of being silent over the military coup that took place on October 25, and the atrocities committed since then.

Demonstrators have chanted "Shame on you BBC!" and held banners reading "Don't turn a blind eye on human rights", and other similar slogans.

Since the coup, Sudanese have protested across the country but the military has brutally repressed every demonstration.

At least 40 people have lost their lives while demonstrating against the rule of Abdel Fattah al-Burhan since the military takeover.
