'Amusing story of Cheetah 'Imani's' pleasant reunion with lost cubs'
'An enthralling story that highlights the challenging life of a female predator, is depicted in this video.
Filmed by Kalpana Balasubramanian in Masai Mara, this footage captures a day in the life of a protective mother Cheetah, a rather eventful day, so to speak.
"This Cheetah, called Imani, had 4 naughty adventurous cubs and on the day we were filming, 2 of them disappeared (we were told that they were taken away by Baboons)," Kalpana said. "However, we were lucky to witness the happy reunion of the mother with her 2 lost cubs."
Even though this video ended on a happy note, Imani's world would be rocked by a tragic event over the next few weeks. As per the filmer, the Cheetah ended up losing all 4 cubs to various attacks, which none of the younglings survived.
