A clothing store has opened in Minsk, selling Belarusian T-shirts and sweatshirts with quotes by the country's President Aleksandr Lukashenko.

The president, who has jailed, exiled or charged all his biggest political opponents, is often called 'Europe's last dictator'.

But he still has some followers in Belarus, including so-called 'patriot bloggers', one of whom went to the new store, called Pervy [The First], to do some on-camera shopping on it's opening day, Saturday 18 December.

Among the Lukashenko slogans on the clothing sold there: "Facts on the table", "It will be very interesting, start moving", "They don't give away their beloved", and more.

In the video, a woman makes a purchase and excitedly unboxes her new purchase in front of a camera and light, when a passer-by derides what he sees as the attention-seeking behaviour of such bloggers, telling her she is "overdoing it".

The woman, annoyed to have her moment in the limelight spoiled, replies: "Envy is a very bad feeling. I feel sorry for you, honestly. Girls should not be envied. Is everything bad in your life? Start moving." At which point she holds up a a T-shirt with the "start moving" phrase on it.
