This is the shocking moment an allegedly drunk man leapt unprovoked onto the bonnet of a taxi in Lichfield in the UK before attacking the driver.

Astonishing dashcam footage, captured in the early hours of Saturday (January 15) morning on Bore Street, shows the unidentified man suddenly hurl himself on Dave Johnson's vehicle.

"What a tw*t!" screams Johnson in horror.

As he performs the bizarre wrestling-style move, several items fall to the ground from his pockets.

"You dropped your phone," Johnson yells after him.

Moments later, the bemused taxi driver pulls over to inspect the damage to his vehicle and the aggressive man approaches again and shoves Johnson before walking off.

"I have no idea why this person decided to jump on my taxi," said Johnson.

"When I pulled over to inspect the damage he had caused, the male then proceeded to verbally abuse me before shoving me," he added.
