Mum's lightning-fast reflexes saves both of her daughters
Uploaded by a Newsflare content partner
This mother stepped in at precisely the right moment as a her five-year-old daughter narrowly avoided completely wiping out her infant sister as she sped uncontrollably downhill on her bicycle.
The mother's sister, Amanda Parker was casually recording her niece, Ava, as she made her way down a hill in the Pokagon State Park, Indiana, but she quickly lost control of the bike and was on course to collide with her 9-month-old sister, Sam.
On 5th May 2021, Mum, Andrea, managed to anticipate and intercept the potentially awful accident that was about to occur - Ava crashing into the pushchair that Sam was helplessly sitting in.
The steep gradient of the hill meant that the closer Ava got, the more speed she was carrying but just before she could make contact, super-mum Andrea was able to grab her daughter from the saddle as the pink bicycle grazed the stroller.
The little girl cried as Andrea collected herself but luckily there was no injuries or damage caused to anyone.
Amanda said: "I was scared for Ava's safety at first but looking back it was funny to watch.
"Ava got right back up and did it again."
