Trees take over a sidewalk in southern China
An urban design feature in Xiamen, southern China has left local residents scratching their heads.
The Jimei Educational District boasts a section of road some 200 meters long with trees taking up most of the sidewalk on both sides.
Locals are forced to dodge between the trees as if they were avoiding soccer defenders, with some choosing to walk on the road - presenting a safety risk.
