STORYLINE:

A tree-planting activity was held Saturday in western Algiers, to raise awareness of environmental protection and strengthen bilateral ties between China and Algeria.

This activity was co-organized by the Chinese Embassy in Algeria, the Chinese Enterprises Association in Algeria and the Algeria-China Friendship Association.

Approximately 500 volunteers collaborated in this eco-friendly tradition.

First launched in 2009, this activity signifies a positive momentum in the bilateral ties between Algeria and China.
