Despite warnings of heavy rain from Cyclone Dovi, protests against the government’s pandemic measures reached the end of their first week in Wellington, New Zealand, on 14 February.

The New Zealand capital has faced traffic delays and closed streets since February 8, as protesters -– inspired by the so-called ‘Freedom Convoy‘ disruption in Canada -– parked cars, vans, and buses in an effort to occupy parliament’s lawn.
