Phoenix, United States - November 08, 2025 11/07/2025 11:05 pm GMT-0700 GLENDALE, Ariz. – Glendale Police Department officers, the Glendale Fire Department, and Maricopa Ambulance medics responded to the area of 59th Avenue and McLellan Road following reports of a collision involving a vehicle and a bicyclist. Upon arrival, officers located an unresponsive male in the southbound lanes of 59th Avenue. A black Chrysler 300 with extensive front-end damage was stopped nearby in the center lane. The unresponsive male was pronounced deceased at the scene by Glendale FD crews shortly after their arrival. The driver of the Chrysler 300 remained at the scene. Information gathered during the preliminary stages of the traffic investigation suggests the male victim was crossing 59th Avenue on a bicycle when he was struck by the Chrysler 300. A hard closure was established for 59th Avenue, spanning Ocotillo Road to Maryland Avenue, while Glendale police detectives investigated the collision.
