Flock of hungry sheep invade friends' picnic in Denmark
This is the moment a flock of hungry sheep invaded a picnic in Denmark.
Yasemin Tarhan and her friends were enjoying a beautifully laid out picnic party in a park in Copenhagen when the sheep gate crashed.
After taking pictures of their food, the sheep arrived and helped themselves to the crackers, chocolates, fruits, and pizza that the girls prepared for their friend's birthday.
They were only able to salvage a bouquet of flowers that was about to be eaten by one of the hungry sheep but Yasemin said it was still a memorable event for them.
Yasemin, who recorded the video last Spring, said: 'It was still a memorable day. It was my friend’s birthday, so we decided to celebrate it with a surprise picnic.
'We went to a park where there were not very many people, so we could sit a little to ourselves and have fun without disturbing others.
'When we arrived, it was completely empty and there were no people or sheep to see. We, therefore, started by getting ready so we could surprise her.'
The youngster added that the sheep started out being peaceful but when one of them made a bleating sound, the animals started invading their space and ate their food.
She said: 'After taking a few pictures, we sat down to eat, where we were suddenly surrounded by many sheep.
'They were just next to us for a few minutes and were completely peaceful, but suddenly one of them made a sound which I remember very clearly and they attacked us.
'We calmly tried to push them away but without luck. Instead, they pushed us away.
'We were completely shocked by the incident and did not know how to react. We just stood almost completely shocked and watched them ruin and eat all our food in a few minutes.'
The girls then just waited for the sheep to finish eating and cleaned up the mess, throwing their leftovers in the trash.
However, Yasemin said they were still happy. She said: 'In the end, we went home and talked and laughed about what just happened.'
