The explosion from a Silver Springs apartment building was captured from a security home camera in Maryland as screams and shouts can be heard on Thursday morning (March 3).

The explosion sent 10 people to the hospital, leaving others missing as authorities searched the smoldering rubble from the blast.

Three people were rushed to the hospital in critical condition, while seven others suffered less serious injuries, said Montgomery County Fire Chief Scott Goldstein.

The filmer Amrit Gautam told Newsflare: "I heard an explosion and we escaped in our car [...] We were also scared to live in our home."
