Hilarious footage shows how a pet dog went from aggressive to relaxed in a matter of seconds while having a haircut.

The fluffy 14-year-old Shih Tzu named Bangs was at first barking angrily and snapping at the worker's clippers during a session in Bulacan province, the Philippines on March 15.

However, in under a minute the grumpy male pooch was lying on its back with paws in the air enjoying the tickling sensation of having his tummy fur trimmed.

Marjorie Lizas, manager at The Pet Spot grooming salon, said: 'This dog went from aggressive to clingy as soon as he started to get to know us. We always make sure that the pooches are well-taken care of.

'He was scared at first but in the end was loving having a haircut.'
