Eid 2022: Queue of Homecomers to Merak Port, Banten, Indonesia

The queue of vehicles at the Merak Toll Gate stretched for 3 KM. The queue of vehicles was caused by the officers enforcing an open and close system that occurred at the exit of the Merak Toll gate. This is implemented to break down the density of vehicles in the Merak Port. Inside the Merak Port itself, homecoming vehicles are still queuing up to enter the ship and cross to the Bakauheni Port, Lampung. Many homecomers have to wait for hours to get out of the Merak Toll Road. Residents want to go home for Eid before the 2022 Eid Al-Fitr.
