This sunset was that most wonderful gift that I received for my 45th birthday! My mom and I were on a little getaway in Campbellford, Ontario Canada for our birthdays (which are 3 days apart). I selected a specific motel facing west and on the river, in hopes that we would see a nice sunset. But around 6pm it started to rain. I was really disappointed! But then, the most beautiful, full rainbow that I have ever seen filled the sky, followed by this incredible sunset. The yellow and orange was so intense it looked like the sky was on fire! It was truly stunning and awe inspiring. It went on for at least half an hour, the view shifting each minute to something just as beautiful. I felt humbled and grateful to have been able to see it and experience its beauty.
