A blue jay feeding frenzy during the early morning hours at the cottage
Blue jays have come to know that when we are at the cottage, the railing remains filled with peanuts for them. When we start putting them out each morning, one jay will call out and others will flock to the railing. For example, at 6 seconds into the video, a blue jay swoops in from the small island in the background. At the same time, another blue jay brings a peanut back to the railing (yes, they get confused sometimes and do this!). When they want more and we are inside the cottage, they swoop past the windows until we bring out more!
