Make-up artist spends SIX HOURS painting Donald Trump on their body
A make-up artist has been praised on social media for her life-like portrait of the Queen ahead of Jubilee bank holiday weekend.
Kim Stokes, 32, from Boston, Lincolnshire, spent six hours using eyeshadows, brushes and make-up pencils to draw Her Majesty on her leg freehand.
Her drawing was based on the Queen's historic look during her 'We Will Meet Again' speech given at the height of the pandemic – dressed in a bright emerald green dress, signature pearls and diamond brooch.
Kim started with using a peach-coloured eyeshadow to form the base before carefully drawing the outline of the longest-serving royal.
She then continued to use a small make-up brush to detail the facial features using eyeshadow, until finishing it off with a teal outline.
"I didn't find it too hard. The hardest thing was the position I had to keep my leg in to do it," Kim, who runs her own business Kim Stokes MUA, told NeedToKnow.online.
"As a make-up artist, working with make-up is what I'm used to and it's also a medium that can easily be corrected.
"It had a much better reaction than I had expected on TikTok, but it just shows the love people have for our Queen.
"I couldn't bear to wash it off straight away after spending hours on it.
"I'm a fan of the Queen but unfortunately I'm going to be working during the Jubilee celebrations as it's wedding and prom season so I'm super busy.
"If I get a spare moment, I might do a little red, white and blue make-up though to honour the occasion – and hopefully I'll be able to join in the celebrations after work."
Kim uploaded a video to TikTok (@kimstokescreative) capturing her efforts, which has racked up 11,000 likes, leaving social media users impressed with her talent.
One TikTok user said: "A fantastic tribute to the queen."
A second person commented: "This is insane."
"That's absolutely incredible," added someone else.
One viewer wrote: "This is amazing!! You have some talent there!!!"
"Wow that’s amazing long live the queen," another person praised.
