Crossing the infamous Drake Passage, we experienced some of the most intense conditions our ship had ever seen. While this wasn't the worst of what we experienced, we were traveling through 40 ft waves and 96 mph winds.
The Drake Passage is one of the most treacherous passages of water in the world, and our ship experienced this to the max on our way back from Antarctica. Waves were reaching 40 feet tall and the winds were reaching 96 mph.
