This youngster rode his pet dog like a horse on his way home from school in Thailand.

Adorable footage shows Yong, 9, straddling the black pooch named Chao Bo as they walked back home together in Chiang Rai province on June 8.

Residents said the dog would often accompany Yong to school and would sleep outside while waiting for the boy to finish his classes.

Onlooker Kruphanu Borsang said: 'Normally, the kid rides a bike to school with Chao Bo by his side. The video was just a sweet moment of the pair playing around. They are best friends and are often seen together.'
