Ship seen 'hovering in sky' in optical illusion off the Kent coast, UK
A ship was seen to 'hover in the sky' in an optical illusion seen off the Kent, UK coast this morning (Aug 7).
Oil/chemical tanker SKS Donggang appeared to float in the sky as seen from Sheerness beach on a sunny and warm morning.
The optical illusion is known as a mirage and can be caused by what's known as a false horizon or a fata morgana.
