This sweet video depicts a sleepy child walking into the room that his parents had decorated for his birthday, and coming across a large Elmo balloon.

Then, he moves to the other side of the room, where a poster on the wall features more Sesame Street characters.

He turns back to face Elmo, but he becomes unsteady and starts to back away slowly.

The toddler's father, who is constantly talking to him and reminding him that it is his birthday, notices his actions and takes Elmo close to him.

As a result, the toddler begins to cry and scream.

"We surprised our son on his second birthday with an oversized Elmo balloon and a Sesame Street wake-up,” said RJ Fishman. “He is horrified and shakes until his mom saves him from Elmo!”
