Cody looks at himself in the mirror and thinks he has having a conversation with another monkey.

Cody, a White Throat Capuchin monkey, looks very active. From his facial expressions, it seems that the conversation with the other animal behind the mirror is growing intense!

Cody's owner, from Sevierville, Tennessee, US, says:"Monkeys do not recognize themselves in the mirror or in photos. He is in the same bathroom almost every night and usually just ignores the mirror, but he has finally decided to confront the monkey he sees".

Cody has been with his owner since he was eight weeks old and he is now 13.5 years old.

The man has four as monkeys at home. "They are the smartest of the new world classification of monkeys. They have the IQ of two-three year olds and often exhibit to be even smarter. Cody is loving and very playful and wins the hearts of people he meets".

Capuchin monkeys do not recognize themselves in mirrors. Cody thought he was having a conversation with another monkey in the mirror. As you can see from how active he is and his facial expressions, the conversation with the monkey in the mirror is growing intense!
