Selfridges department store in Oxford Street, London, closes and blacks out windows in honour of the Queen
Luxury store Selfridges remained closed on Friday after shutting shop early on Thursday following the announcement of Her Majesty the Queen's death (September 9).
Security staff can be seen on the doors answering queries from would-be shoppers.
Some windows of the store have been blacked out with white lettering in the corner simply stating Queen Elizabeth II 1926-2022.
