Mule deer buck and black bear both run from each other at private residence in Idaho.
My friend Bob and I are inside the house watching bluegrass videos when we noticed the buck in the driveway, so I picked up my iPad and started videoing him through a window. I went outside for a closer view. I did not notice the bear at first, but the deer did. When the buck turned my direction my focus was on him, but if you look instead at the bear when both are running, you see it go up the tree trunk. I walked up closer towards the tree to get a better look at the bear and if you have sound you can hear it jaw-pop and woof at me. I didn't want to disturb the bear more, so I walked back to the house and made the final short video.
