"Our chickens at Casey Coop homestead love to make funny videos on Instagram for their fans," the filmer told WooGlobe. "This particular reel was inspired by the viral trend of chickens carving pumpkins.
"With the help of my 18-month-old son, Levi, we made an outline on the pumpkin and poked holes where we wanted the chickens to peck and they took care of the rest."
Lacey revealed that it took the flock two days to carve the orange squash. Plus, she was so satisfied with the end result that she has already started considering "letting the chickens carve our pumpkin every year from now on!"
