This is the moment a carriage swung out of control from a high-rise building during a blizzard in Saskatchewan, western Canada on Sunday (November 6).

A winter storm hit the provincial capital of Regina at the weekend, with a Newsflare filmer capturing the moment a carriage swung against Chateau Tower on Broad Street, which was forced to close.

"Sure is lucky no one got hurt, yet!" Newsflare's filmer Jared Mysko said.

The carriage was later secured and the road opened by 11am local time, Mysko added.

In the video, a big wind gust also produces a snow tornado - or snownado - in a parking lot opposite.

Weather forecasters predict another 7.7 inches (20cm) of snow to come in two more waves on Monday night and Tuesday, Mysko added.
