Get this guy on 'I'm a Celeb': TikToker drinks blood cocktail
This TikToker would breeze through the bushtucker trials on the British TV show "I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!"
A TikToker known for his vivacious appetite for raw meat has revealed his latest concoction – a “blood cocktail” made from fresh cow hearts.
Pauly Long, 30, currently based in Bali, works as a full-time content creator, and can often be found chowing down on raw liver, testicles and tongues, sharing his meals with 821,400 followers on TikTok (@paulylong).
In one of his most recent clips, the influencer, who is also a mentor and brand owner, shows off a freshly-squeezed cocktail that has left some users feeling queasy.
The TikTok has quickly racked up 1.4 million views and 41,800 likes.
“I had been getting whole beef hearts for a month or two at that point and I would always pour out the leftover bloody juice (actually is called myoglobin)," Pauly said.
“One day I just decided it would be a good piece of content if I drank it, knowing full well that I could and that it’s perfectly fine for you, and thus the 'blood cocktail' was born.”
In the video, he can be seen removing the beef heart from its plastic packaging, placing it to one side and taking the blood from the bag and pouring it into a glass.
Wishing viewers "cheers", he then downs the drink to the last drop.
Pauly claims his animal diet actually has a number of health benefits.
He said: “I’ve been eating raw organs since the beginning of this year.
"The raw steak I started a couple of months ago.
"It’s very healthy and good for digestion, but I also just really wanted to show people that it’s possible.
“‘If you would’ve told me even just a year ago that I’d be eating raw steak every day for two months straight and building muscle from it, I’d have called you a psychopath.
"But here I am.
“When you cook meat, you cook out a lot of the micronutrients like all the important vitamins and minerals that make steak a superfood.
“Not saying that cooked it's unhealthy because that’s certainly not true.
"But raw meat in my opinion is more nutrient-dense."
When asked how others perceived his lifestyle choice, Pauly revealed he’s had mixed reactions.
He said: So everyone, of course, freaks out when I eat raw meat because they’ve been told their whole life that it’s impossible and you’ll 100% get sick guaranteed if you do it.
“[As for flavour], I’m really not a fan of liver and to be honest testicles aren’t that delightful either.
"Heart is the only one I truly don’t mind because it really just tastes like steak and is very mild in flavour.
“Liver is really good with maple syrup and/or honey though, which is the only way I eat it now.
"I prefer goat testicles over bull testicles, they’re better tasting in my opinion and stay."
