In order to implement the relevant provisions of the Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China, standardize personal information processing activities, and promote the rational use of personal information, recently, the State Administration for Market Regulation and the Cyberspace Administration of China decided to implement personal information protection certification, encouraging personal information processing personnel to improve their personal information protection ability through certification.
The certification body engaged in the work of personal information protection certification shall, upon approval, carry out the relevant certification activities and implement the certification in accordance with the Rules for the Implementation of Personal Information Protection Certification.
