Rahat, Israel - September 25, 2025 During the holiday period, 28 suspects were arrested in the city of Rahat in connection with violent family feuds. Last night, an attempted revenge attack took place as part of an ongoing conflict, during which a one-year-old girl was injured in her home and taken for medical treatment. Four suspects were arrested. Today, police forces operating in the area encountered stone-throwing and attempts to obstruct their intervention. In response, dozens of officers from the Sahar Brigade, Yoav Unit, and National Guard South, supported by a police helicopter, raided the compounds of the families involved. Commander of Rahat Police Station, Deputy Chief Yona Yitzhak, who led the operation, stated: “Anyone who harms the daily life of law-abiding residents will face the Israel Police.”
