A cyclist was furious after he fell from his bike when a van brushed past him on the road.

Helmet action cam footage shows the white vehicle slightly nudging cyclist Harry Corillo as he pedalled along the bike lane in Quezon City, the Philippines on November 15.

Harry lost his balance and dropped to the ground when the car overtook him and sped away to escape.

Concerned motorists stopped by to assist him, however, and the van's driver later contacted him to apologise when the incident was reported to authorities.

He said: ‘I had some bumps from the fall but it was not serious. However, I was so scared when I almost fell to the wrong side.

‘The van could have crushed me if so my instinct was to veer away and then I fell.'

He added he already talked to the van driver and everything was fine between them.
