On International Human Rights Day Iranians and their supporters marched from Belmore Park to Hyde Park to protest against the hardline Islamic regime in Iran that has been severely punishing freedom protesters in support of Mahsa Amini. Protests began after the death of Mahsa Amini on 16th September 2022 following her arrest by the religious morality police of Iran's government for allegedly not wearing the hijab. Mohsen Shekari, 23, was hung on Thursday, 8th December after being convicted of "moharebeh" -- or "enmity against God" and was the first Mahsa Amini protester to be executed by the regime. In the video Ukrainian leader and one of the protest organisers of the Ukrainian rallies, Anton Bogdanovych speaks at the protest representing the Ukrainian community in solidarity with the Iranians and suggests they adopt the slogan “People of Iran will win!” as the Ukrainians chant “Ukraine will win!” at their protests.
