A curious grandma was startled by a hilarious Bad Dog toy that bit her while shopping in the Philippines.

Margarita Capirpiriwan, 71, was looking for gifts for her grandchildren and saw the plastic bulldog display in Isabela province on December 16.

Curious at what it did, she held its mouth but it slammed onto the old woman sending her into a panic.

Footage shows the frantic grandma shouting at the dog after it pounced on her hand.

Amused daughter Jynelle Cabacungan said: ‘We were about to go home but the seller told us to check on the dog. My mum went to the toy because she was curious.

‘While she was asking how it was played, the dog was suddenly angry and my mother was shouting curses at it.'

Jynelle added that grandma Margarita did not buy the bad dog.

She said: 'She bought the cute stuffed animals instead for the children. It was hilarious.'
