据了解，赛里木湖冰推现象一般出现在每年12月中旬冰面刚结冰时和4月中旬冰面解冻融化时，受天气影响，昼夜温差较大，夜间湖水快速结冰，风力带动下，整个湖面波涛起伏推向岸边。
