The video shows a beautiful ice shove in Sayram Lake, Bortala Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Province.

In the video, layers of ice, under strong winds, keep rolling towards the shore. The floating ice bumped into each other with the waves, like a large number of crystals gathering on the lake shore.

It is understood that ice shoves in Saimu Lake generally occur in the middle of December when the ice freezes and in the middle of April when the ice thaws. Affected by the weather, the temperature changes a lot during the day and night, and the lake water quickly freezes at night.

The video was filmed on December 13 and provided by local media with permission.
