Toddler accompanies mum with COVID-19 by sitting outside her room
This 3-year-old boy insisted on keeping his mum company by sitting outside her room while she recovered from COVID-19 in Suining, Sichuan Province.
In the video filmed by Ms Xu herself, she kept asking her child to leave because she was afraid he may get infected. The boy refused and just moved his little chair a bit, asking if he could sit there.
According to Xu: "When my baby was playing outside and heard my uncomfortable voice in the room, he insisted on sitting at the door. I was so worried that he might be infected that I asked him to go out and not stay here, but he just wanted to stay with me, and I was moved with tears.”
The video was filmed by Xu on December 20 and provided by her with permission.
