An artist helped grieving dog owners remember their dead pets by sculpting their faces into mugs and keychains.

Footage shows Grace Ann Pigar holding the adorable finished products in Metro Manila, the Philippines.

Grace Ann used polymer clays to carve the pooch's portrait which she baked in an oven.

Pet owners could then carry the memento as a bag, mug or key chain as the artist attaches a ring on them.

She said: ‘I had the idea when I thought of making memorabilia of my late dog Premium. He died of parvovirus.

‘I know the feeling of being away with your pet dogs so I thought of doing this. It started as a hobby and thought of starting a small business with it.'
