Fast food restaurant employees were attacked by customers in Russia
On January 23, 2023, in Saint Petersburg, Russia, a shocking incident occurred at a local KFC restaurant. Customers attacked KFC employees, allegedly frustrated with waiting for their order. According to reports, no injuries were reported, but a video from the scene of the incident has surfaced.
The footage shows two men jumping over the counter and directly into the staff area, shouting and behaving inappropriately while pushing workers. Despite the provocation, the employees did not fall for it and did not engage in a physical fight.
The situation quickly escalated as another disgruntled customer began throwing trays at the employees, and another intruder used pepper spray. When the police got to the scene, they closed the restaurant for a few hours while they talked to witnesses and KFC employees.
The press service of the restaurant explained that the incident was not related to a long wait for an order, stating that KFC has high standards for quality and service that its employees follow. The manager at the counter reportedly tried to calm the guests during the altercation.
This violent incident at a KFC restaurant is a reminder of the importance of proper customer service and the need for patience and understanding. It is also a serious matter for the police to investigate and take appropriate action against the perpetrators.
