We were hiking in the Cannon River WIlderness Area in MInnesota's Rice County during a winter's day when we saw these two juvenile Bald Eagles flying and diving and barrel rolling in synchronicity with one another. As juvenile birds of prey, they were likely practicing their dives and acrobatics and hunting and fighting and future courtship and mating skills.
