Shining Meteor Soars Across Southern England Skies

Andrew Miles spotted a flash of light that was in fact a meteorite flying across the night sky in Sydenham Hill, London, on February 13th.
During the ad-breaks in Sunday's Superbowl at 3am, Andrew heard of a meteor that would heading over the capital and quickly grabbed his phone and managed to captured a breath-taking moment the flash illuminated the sky.
Andrew said: "I was getting my phone ready for a possible picture video but it appeared sooner than I expected, 2 seconds and it had broken up over the Channel.
"I was shocked I had managed to finally see a meteor but to record it in time is a real buzz."
