Teams of officials continue to inspect the wreckage of a train collision that has killed at least 46 in Tempi, Greece.

Footage from March 2 shows investigators searching the debris for personal belongings that may help identify the victims.

In Athens, hundreds of students protested outside the headquarters of the national rail service, Hellenic Train. Similar protests erupted in Thessaloniki and Larissa.

The train crash is the country's worst rail disaster in history.

Footage reveals a scene of destruction at the Tempi train crash on Thursday, 02/2023. Firefighters and rescue teams used cranes to lift the remains of the passenger wagons. A huge fireball caused by the crash explosion and melted the aluminum carriages, instantly killing all the passengers inside the first wagons. Investigators are searching in the rubble for personal belongings or anything else to identify missing persons or help in the identification of the dead.
