This is the amusing moment an annoyed mother pig hurled her rowdy baby over a wall and into the next pen when it stepped on her food.

The rambunctious little hog was roughhousing with its siblings while their mum ate in the corner of their pen in Cebu province, the Philippines on January 15.

But as her babies continued behaving uncontrollably, the irked mum-of-eight seemingly reached her limit when they interrupted her dinner time. She used her snout to toss the juvenile closest to her to the neighbour's enclosure.

CCTV footage shows the small piglet flying out of their enclosure. It landed on the backside of a confused lone pig that checked on it when it hit the ground.

Livestock farmer Anthony Jugo said: ‘When I returned later that day to feed them, one of the piglets was missing and found it in the next pen. I checked the camera to see what had happened and it was so funny.

‘The mother pig had enough when one of the babies stepped on her food. She just lost it and threw the baby away.'

The piglet was returned to her mother after the incident.
