Project Ampara: Providing Assistance to Homeless Individuals in Sao Paulo, Brazil

At Praca Armenia, in Sao Paulo, the City Hall launches a complementary social action, whose name is Ampara SP.
The objective is to promote specialized reception and structure, such as social protection, aimed at people who are homeless, people who agree are taken by transport to a place of reception.
There will be 23 professionals divided into two teams, totaling 46 specialized technicians who will work on duty, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Among them will be pedagogues, sociologists, occupational therapists and art educators.
