When we bring a dog into our lives, we often hope for a special bond that goes beyond just a pet-owner relationship. We imagine a connection on a higher level, one where we can understand each other without words. For @pug.hloe, this connection became a reality with her pug Chloe in Lviv, Ukraine.

On the first day of their walk together, the author began teaching Chloe the commands "can" and "fu". To her surprise, the 2.5-month-old puppy understood her immediately. According to a clip shot by @pug.hloe on 25th September, 2022, Chloe looked to her owner for approval and permission to eat the treats offered. It was a challenge for the author to find a deeper connection with her dog, one where they could communicate without words.
