A shocking video has emerged of a fire breathing performer setting fire to her face by mistake.

The footage was filmed in Arizona, US after a Halloween party. It shows the two performers, blowing fire before one of their faces catches alight and becomes engulfed in flames.

Fortunately, according to the filmer, the woman dunked her face into the pool of water in front of her.

The filmer later wrote online: "At our annual Halloween costume party in Chandler, Arizona, two girls ... decided to do a fire show with kerosene ... After one failed attempt where one of the girl's face was lit on fire and quickly put out, she unfortunately dripped a lot of kerosene on her face which ended up quickly igniting on fire.

"After almost ten seconds of panic and refusing to put her fire torch down she finally dunked her face into the pool of water in front of her."
