Dozens of villagers banded together to pull a pick-up truck that fell from a hillside cliff in Thailand.

Footage shows locals - including elderly residents - from a nearby Paganywa community hauling the fallen vehicle from the 100-foot cliff in Ban Mae Sa village in Chiang Mai province on May 2.

Several villagers had descended to tie some rope around the truck, while the others pulled it back onto the road with the help of a backhoe.

The couple driving the truck said they lost control and plunged down the cliff, which had earlier been slicked with rain. They managed to survive the fall unharmed.
