We booked our honeymoon to Positano, Italy for May thinking that we get nice weather not too hot, we're not massive sunbathers, we like exploring and thought it would be the perfect time to go. As soon as we arrived the rain was already hitting the tarmac at the airport and it just got progressively worse throughout the week, progressing to thunderstorms and just torrential rain. We were staying in Positano which is basically full of steps and there was only one way back to our hotel from the beach which was up to 250 steps. There had been so much rain the way back up to the hotel had basically become a waterfall at this point. We had already been soaked through by getting caught in the rain, so we had no choice of them to go back up the steps to get back to our hotel room and dry out. So we put our best foot forward and made our way up the steps and enjoyed the new tourist attraction of positano - waterfalls.
