Kayaker running one of the biggest rapids in the world in North East India / Arunachal on the Siang river
Adrian Mattern paddling one of the biggest rapids in the world on the infamous Siang River ( the biggest river in all of India) in his kayak. The descent happened late in the afternoon after scouting from the shore of the river. It was impossible to realize the size of the waves until one found himself actually in there, and from there on it was all about holding on until you were at the bottom of the rapid.
