NDRF Officials Begin Restoration Work After Cyclone Biparjoy Hit Lakhpat, India

Officials of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) began restoration work in western India's Gujarat after Cyclone Biparjoy wreaked havoc in the state.
This footage shows the NDRF officials at work as they cleared out the roads which got blocked with trees that were uprooted in the cyclone in Lakhpat, Gujarat, India. One of the officials was seen climbing up a fallen tree and sawing away its branches in a bid to remove it easily. A lot of roads were blocked and several electric poles were destroyed which led to power outages in over 1000 villages. Work to restore power is being carried out by the Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Ltd.
