SDRF rescued a person who fell into a pit in northern India's Uttrakhand.

This footage shows after the man fell into the pit, a rescue team was actively engaged in efforts to save him in Narkota area of Rudraprayag, India . Using torchlights to pierce through the darkness and their unwavering determination, the team successfully managed to extricate the injured man from the depths of the pit, ensuring his safe rescue.

With the help of ropes, the SDRF team descended approximately 200 meters into the deep pit and successfully reached the stranded individual.

The person was found in an injured condition, and the SDRF team safely rescued them from the pit using ropes and a stretcher board.

The individual, identified as Mr. Nikku Yadav, aged 25 hailing from Banaras, was immediately provided with appropriate medical care and transported to the hospital via an ambulance.

According to the injured person's account, he was traveling from Rishikesh to Badrinath when his vehicle lost control and fell into a pit near Narakota.

The SDRF team involved in the rescue operation included Deputy Inspector Ravindra Singh, Assistant Deputy Inspector Shekhar Chand Joshi, Constable Sagar, Constable Vikas Ramola, Constable Kailash Pargai, Constable Gautam Chandra, Paramedic Anuj Kumar, and Driver Vimal.
