A summer flea market in Jordan named Souk Jara recently opened for the public in its 17th season, with visitors' feasting their eyes on unique handmade items on display by local artists.

Souk Jara is a big open market that is open only on Fridays during summer at Rainbow Street in the capital Amman.

Considered one of the most prominent tourist and artistic destinations for locals and foreigners alike in Amman, Souk Jara exhibits a selection of local handicrafts ranging from household items, jewelry, pottery, garment, and traditional food.
