A one-week industrial exhibition titled "Abu Hanifa 3rd National and International Expo & Trade Fair" opened in Afghanistan's capital city of Kabul on Sunday, the state-run Bakhtar news agency reported.
Aimed at developing local industries and agriculture and finding a market for local products, the participants including female business people and foreign companies would display their products in 700 booths.
In his opening remarks, Acting Minister for Industry and Commerce Nooruddin Azizi emphasized the Afghan caretaker administration's commitment to supporting local products and their support for Afghan and foreign investments. Additionally, he expressed the wish to expand trade and economic relations with regional and other countries.
